Location, walking distance to main attractions. Very difficult to park around old town so walking is the best option. Staff was worked tirelessly to help us find a room with good W-FI to work. Paid parking is connect by elevator from the hotel.

Fab location, 2 mins from the local train station (and a v short taxi from TGV, too). Easy to walk to all the main sights. Big rooms. And the staff on reception were friendly and helpful.

The hotel staff was excellent. One of us was not feeling well, and they contacted medical services, which came in less then 20 minutes. The hotel is an easy walk from just outside the city walls into town. It is on a busy streets, but with the double windows, one was not bothered by the trafffic.

The hotel is walking distance from the Avignon train station and just outside the walls to the old city so walking distance to the tourist area also. Room was very spacious and clean.

The location is great, right next to the train station, gare centre and just a small walk from the beautiful old town. The staff was super friendly and kind. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The view was great.

Avignon Grand Hotel is right next to the train station and just across the street from the entrance to historic Avignon. The hotel itself is nice, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms comfortable and actually rather spacious especially for the price. I had both a bedroom which could be closed off from the sitting area. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to others as a home base for exploring the region on train and exploring Avignon on foot.

Large room with seperate living area, bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of cupboards and storage space. Great location right opposite the walled city of Avignon and approximately 4 minutes walk from Avignon Central train station. Room was quiet with no noise from adjoining rooms or from the road outside. Good air conditioning. Small pool area on the roof. A safe was provided and fridge with two bottles of complimentary water. Toiletries and towels provided in the bathroom. Bar area and garden area with shade.
